The Habs didn't play yesterday, but that didn't stop one of their prospects from showing off in the Ontario Junior League as the Hamilton Bulldogs took on the Barrie Colts.
Jan Mysak's performance in this game was the one that caught our attention. The CH's second round pick in 2020 collected a big four points in this game, with two goals and two assists.
Most impressive was the Bulldogs, the team Mysak plays for, who came back from a 4-1 deficit with almost ten minutes left in the final frame.
The Tricolore prospect scored the tying goal with just under three minutes left in the game and had an assist on the game-winning goal in overtime.
This honorable performance earned him the first star of the night in the entire Ontario Junior League. Mysak had one point in the first game of the season. He brings his total to five points in two games in his return to junior hockey. Last year, he played for the Laval Rocket due to the pandemic.
