Sunday after dinner, Carey Price faced the media for the first time since he stepped away from the team. Everyone was anxious to hear him speak, but let's say that his presence was not very convincing. Looks like his knee is causing him a lot of worry and uncertainty.
That said, following this appearance in front of the media, his wife Angela wanted to leave a comforting message for her popular husband.
«Seeing Carey in front of the media tonight and talking to many of you about it made me emotional. I so want those moments back to go well, I want to see the excitement on the girls' faces when they see dad skating. I want to have the stupid fights with the kids about who gets to sleep with the puck that dad threw at them in warm-ups. I want Lincoln and Carey to have those moments I want everything back to normal!»
Reading this, it's hard not to be emotional and wish the best for Carey Price the man and the player. He has a beautiful family and it's so true that the moments when we saw Carey throwing pucks at these kids were magical.
Praying for a quick recovery, Carey!
