The Edmonton Oilers had a catastrophic 20-game run before regaining control and four consecutive wins.
In the duel against the Montreal Canadiens, it was noted that the club's attack led by Dave Tippett was well balanced due to the arrival of Evander Kane. His talent is immense, there's no doubt about it.
That said, Ken Holland will have to find a solution to complement the current defense. Solidifying the left flank wouldn't hurt this brigade.
However, Holland did not want to spend his first choice, so if he wanted to acquire Ben Chiarot with the Montreal Canadiens it would certainly be difficult. Dany Dubé speculated about this on 98.5 Sports.
"Ben would be very interesting for many teams, including the Oilers, because they, I look at the situation in the defense, they can improve. But they might also be interested in Kulak, who costs less, a support guy who would give them depth.» - Dany Dubé
So, could Holland offer a 3rd or 4th round pick in order to get the services of a player like Brett Kulak? Maybe!
To follow, as the other would say!
