Announcement involving Arber Xhekaj: he will be exchanged with the Chicago Blackhawks' 2018 first-round pick Nicolas Beaudin in the lineup
Just minutes before Arber Xhekaj's first AHL career game, the Laval Rocket confirmed this.
"Arber Xhekaj will play his first game in the Rocket uniform tonight at Place Bell. He will form a defensive duo with Brady Keeper." - Rocket de Laval
He will therefore be officially paired with Brady Keeper, who has 3 points in 14 games this season. (and 37 minutes of penalty)
Please also note that Xhekaj will finally take the place in the lineup of the former Chicago Blackhawks first-round pick (in 2018) Nicolas Beaudin, who had accumulated 6 points in 11 games.
"The mandate is clear for Arber Xhekaj in Laval. We want him to focus on his defensive work. He won't be touching the power play for now at least. He will play against the Belleville Senators tonight and will take Nicolas Beaudin's place in the lineup." - Via Anthony Marcotte
There you have it! The decisions are made! We are very excited to see Xhekaj in action in a few minutes.
Enjoy the game!
