We have just had a nice little surprise announcement on this Monday morning.
The Montreal Canadiens organization just announced a contract extension for defenseman Chris Wideman!
His wish is granted and we are very happy about it.
We're talking about a two season contract, but the salary has not yet been announced. However, we expect a minimal salary for Wideman.
Wideman had 27 points in 64 games last season and was an exemplary teammate.
