Bad news for Alexander Romanov

All indications are that Alexander Romanov will be left out of tonight's game, as he has been working overtime with the extras. Most of the time, when a player makes extra time, it is a sign that he will not play the game of the day...
So by that logic, that means the defense will consist of Jeff Petry, who would still be playing injured, Ben Chiarot, David Savard, Brett Kulak, Chris Wideman and Sami Niku.
In all seriousness, I strongly believe that Romanov, who allowed nine short-handed goals with his partner David Savard, was the number one candidate to head to Laval. Anyway...
I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that Michael Pezzetta will play his first game in the National Hockey League tonight and that Alex Belzile will also be in uniform.
