This morning, the Montreal Canadiens announced that Jake Evans and Alexander Romanov had been placed on the NHL's COVID-19 protocol.
I remind you that the Montreal team is currently in Florida, which will fight the Panthers on Saturday afternoon. The team will be even more decimated than Thursday night, so imagine how much raw talent it will lack.
Evans and "Romy" join Brandon Baddock, Paul Byron, Laurent Dauphin, Mike Hoffman, Artturi Lehkonen, Tyler Toffoli, Ben Chiarot, Joel Edmundson, Jeff Petry, Chris Wideman, Jake Allen, Cayden Primeau and goaltender coach Éric Raymond.
But with 11 forwards and five defensemen in view of the 1 o'clock game, will it be cancelled?
Luckily, after the duel with the Panthers, the Canadian will again take a break, and this time it will be until January 12.
