This Friday night, Pierre Gervais will be the equipment manager of the Montreal Canadiens for the last time in his career. He announced at the beginning of the season that he would be stepping down after 21 seasons as equipment manager and over 35 years with the organization.
In order to show their appreciation for the man, the players got together to offer a beautiful gift to the man nicknamed Gerv. He presented himself, this Friday during the optional training, at the center of the ice to receive his present.
This is to say that Gervais' efficiency and discretion were highly appreciated in the dressing room!
