In a press conference just moments ago, forward Sean Monahan announced that he is on track for a full recovery, which is obviously great news!
He'll be back on the ice in less than two weeks, and he also announced his clear desire to return to play for the Montreal Canadiens next year.
The good news about Monahan's injury? It had absolutely nothing to do with his hips. He was injured in the groin area.
"I'd like to come back to Montreal. I haven't played at the Bell Centre enough. I got chills when I jumped onto the ice." - Sean Monahan.
Monahan played with a broken foot against the Flames in Calgary. He then suffered a groin injury." - J-F Chaumont
Monahan, 28, has put up a solid 17 points in 25 games this season with the Habs. Would you like him to return next year?
