After tonight's game against the Sharks, and after another shaky performance from goaltender Jake Allen, we just came across a big statement from Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis regarding his goaltenders.
This is from this morning.
"Martin St-Louis, about how he shows Jake Allen that he still has the confidence of the head coach as the team's #1 goalie despite the fact that Allen hasn't been playing at the top of his game lately: 'consistently putting him back in the net. That's it." - Martin St. Louis and reported by the excellent Priyanta Emrith
Do you think he'll change his mind and decide to send Samuel Montembeault into the fray next game?
Do you think that would be the right decision to make?
One thing is for sure, he will certainly be asked the question in a press conference in the next few minutes. We'll keep you posted.
More details will follow!
