On TVA Sports, analyst Alexandre Picard revealed the Montreal Canadiens' likely lineup to start the 2022-2023 season.
The result is interesting, especially because of a surprise on the first trio.
Kirby Dach - Nick Suzuki - Cole Caufield
Evgeny Dadonov - Christian Dvorak - Josh Anderson
Juraj Slafkovsky - Sean Monahan - Brendan Gallagher
Mike Hoffman - Jake Evans - Joel Armia
Extras: Rem Pitlick - Michael Pezzetta - Jonathan Drouin
This is effectively the reality of 2022 on the Tricolore, when we have to assemble five trios because there's a pretty impressive surplus of forwards.
Do you like Picard's proposal? There are a few surprises, including :
- Dach as a winger on the first line (while he's a center). It could be interesting to get him back in the game though.
- Jonathan Drouin on the "fifth trio", or in other words, left out.
And what do you think the CH's lineup will be to start next season?
