Canadiens' likely starting lineup: a surprise on the first line, according to Alex Picard

On TVA Sports, analyst Alexandre Picard revealed the Montreal Canadiens' likely lineup to start the 2022-2023 season.

The result is interesting, especially because of a surprise on the first trio.

Kirby Dach - Nick Suzuki - Cole Caufield

Evgeny Dadonov - Christian Dvorak - Josh Anderson

Juraj Slafkovsky - Sean Monahan - Brendan Gallagher

Mike Hoffman - Jake Evans - Joel Armia

Extras: Rem Pitlick - Michael Pezzetta - Jonathan Drouin

This is effectively the reality of 2022 on the Tricolore, when we have to assemble five trios because there's a pretty impressive surplus of forwards.

Do you like Picard's proposal? There are a few surprises, including :

- Dach as a winger on the first line (while he's a center). It could be interesting to get him back in the game though.

- Jonathan Drouin on the "fifth trio", or in other words, left out.
