Canadiens practice: a day full of meetings and a spat

Although the Montreal Canadiens played the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday night, they were back on the ice at the Bell Sports Complex today.

As usual, Dominique Ducharme was scheduled to hold a general meeting, in addition to chatting one-on-one with several of his players.

Here, all the players, like proud students, listen attentively to professor Ducharme's instructions.

In this scenario, I imagine that Michael Pezzetta is told to be careful not to get into the game with a guy like Brendan Lemieux.

Several scenarios were created in this session.

Then we also got to see how Artturi Lehkonen is not a natural scorer.

Then, towards the end, it got more intense, so it's no surprise that the two proud competitors Brendan Gallagher and Alexander Romanov were bickering. Now that's emotion, unlike what we saw from Jeff Petry last Saturday.

In closing, let me share my opinion about Jonathan Drouin, who was absent from today's practice, as well as Josh Anderson, Christian Dvorak and Cedric Paquette: it's worrisome.

We're told that Drouin is concussion-free and day-to-day, but on Tuesday night, #92 was added to the injury list. Can we just get the straight story, please?
