They practiced this morning and some of the players answered the questions of the journalists afterwards. Among them : Carey Price.
He was all smiles. Price first spoke about his future in Montreal and in the NHL:
Also, the number 31 confided that after his game last Friday, against the Islanders, he feels great.
He shouldn't stretch the elastic.
Asked about his participation in the World Hockey Championship, which will take place in the next few weeks, Price admitted that he has always wanted to take part and participate in this event, but it will most likely not happen this year for him.
As Christian Matte (Marqueur.com) reports, Carey admitted he doesn't want to "stretch the rubber band too much when the season is over." Why? Because he has a clear plan in mind:
He really wants to play a few games with the Habs, feel good and confident, and then be 110% ready when the next season starts for the Habs next fall.
It is important for him to have a good game plan, in order to have a good level of play for the last four years of his contract.
