Chris Wideman may be the one who will represent the Montreal Canadiens in the NHL All-Star game, leading the way in the election. This would be quite a feat for the 32-year-old defenseman who went through the KHL last year.
In short, he made the press pack laugh in his response about his potential presence at the All-Star Game, «I didn't know I had so many family members working for NHL.com.»
That being said, Wideman, a Canadiens player, I remind you, the most popular team on the planet, does not even get recognized when he plays on a neighbourhood rink. He plays, he plays with the «kids», then they are not aware that they are playing with a Habs player.
"You're pretty good, where do you play?" 😅
Wideman is not Jonathan Drouin, Carey Price or Brendan Gallagher, but he remains an important piece of the Montreal Canadiens' massive offense. He still has nine points in 22 games. He's pretty funny, isn't he?
