Cole Caufield is currently in the middle of a very difficult period, he has only one net in 29 games so far. The young shooter must find a way to get closer to the puck, be active and move his feet to give himself every chance to regain his confidence.
In fact, the young man, who appeared in front of the lenses on Monday at dinner time and said that his COVID stop and the week-long break had enabled him to disconnect and «restart» his hard drive.
He took the opportunity to return home to Wisconsin to spend quality time with his family. He also reconnected with his former Badgers teammates as well as his former coach, Tony Granato.
«I talked to the Badgers coaches every day while I was there. They told me to hold on. They know what kind of player I am. I want to have a long career in the NHL, there are often obstacles,» said Caufield.
Now, the 21-year-old will have to listen to the advice of his coach, Dominique Ducharme, and then focus on the present moment in order to break this little difficult period.
