The Montreal Canadiens were scheduled to return to action this Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning, after a forced break.
For now, the game is still on the schedule. However, there is currently an outbreak of COVID-19 within the team. Five members of the organization have been added to the NHL's COVID-19 protocol, including both starting goaltenders Andrei Vasilevskiy and Brian Elliott, Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, Mikhail Sergachev and assistant coach Rob Zettler.
Remember that head coach Jon Cooper has been on the protocol since December 21.
With so many positive cases in the lineup, we shouldn't be surprised if this game has to be postponed.
