With Jeff Gorton's new management in place at the Montreal Canadiens, he will inevitably try to make changes within the organization in the short, medium and long term.

Gorton will inevitably want to repair the damage done by Marc Bergevin, because let's face it, there is a lot of it.

Dany Dubé mentioned the possibility that Gorton could fix one problem very soon, that of Logan Mailloux. The young man with the controversial reputation has just been given the green light to return to OHL play after serving a heavy suspension since September. CH fans are bound to be intrigued to see what the team's first pick in 2021 has up his sleeve.

However, according to Dany Dubé, he may not be with the organization long enough to form an opinion. The analyst believes that the Montreal staff must give up its rights on the young defenseman, considering the hot potato that he represents.

"We are in an extremely, extremely demanding market in Montreal. I think it will be very difficult to reintegrate him without a scar."

Jeff Gorton will have to do just that if the organization really wants to start fresh, in his opinion. After all, maybe the executive vice president of hockey operations won't want to live with the ambiguous decisions of the old management.
