David Pastrnak has broken a record held by his legendary compatriot Jaromir Jagr!

Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak just broke a record owned by the mythical Jaromir Jagr by winning the Golden Stick Award, given to the best Czech-born player of the year, for the fifth consecutive time.
Pastrnak equals the record of former goalie Dominik Hasek, who also won the award five times in a row. The all-time record still belongs to Jagr, who has won the award 12 times in a career spanning five decades.
In the past year, Pastrnak has recorded 48 points, including 20 goals, in 48 games during the 2020-21 regular season. The 25-year-old right winger also added seven goals and 15 points to his record in 11 playoff games.
Tampa Bay Lightning forward Ondrej Palat and Pastrnak's now ex-teammate David Krejci were second and third on the podium this past year.
