Following yesterday's game, Montreal Canadiens defenseman David Savard talked about his new head coach Martin St-Louis.
He also said that he feels really good about St-Louis' system. Savard adds that it is a system that is strangely similar to that of a former coach common to both players, John Tortorella.
Savard also took the opportunity to send a clear message to his bosses (especially Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton): he loves playing in Montreal, he wants to stay with the Habs for a long time and he wants to be a mentor to the team's promising young defensemen like Jordan Harris, Kaiden Guhle, Justin Barron and Logan Mailloux.
At 31 years old, Savard has been playing really well since his return to the game and he believes in this team.
Do you think he will be in Montreal for a few more seasons?
