Ben Chiarot was used for nearly 22 minutes on Thursday night, while the Montreal Canadiens wrestled well at the Vegas Golden Knights.
However, the defenseman, known for his leadership, physical and defensive appearance, was used at 3-on-3, which displeased several specialists, including Arpon Basu.
Then, as Randy Timmins rightly pointed out, this is not good for the market value of Chiarot.
«Canadiens continue to kill the value of Ben Chiarot by playing him constantly in these situations. He's a stay at home defenseman and not a 3-on-3 specialist.»
Why do Dominique Ducharme and Luke Richardson insist on sending him to a fast-paced area? Meanwhile, on the bench, Alexander Romanov and Chris Wideman watch the whole thing.
Let us understand each other, I understand his desire to use Chiarot, but not at 3-on-3, do we understand each other?
