Embarrassing scene for the Canadiens that went unnoticed during the game against the Hurricanes
Last night, during the clash between the Montreal Canadiens and the Carolina Hurricanes, a particular scene caught attention.
This occurred following the very dangerous hit by Stefan Noesen on Juraj Slafkovsky.
"There were four Habs players on the ice including Suzuki, Guhle & Harris & the only one who confronted Stefan Noesen after he hit Juraj Slafkovsky in the head was the shortest guy, Cole Caufield.
That was just a sad response by the team tonight."
- HabsOnReddit It's worrying to see this, especially after what Slafkovsky has been through.
This is really not what we have been used to from the Habs' players this season.
Knowing Martin St-Louis, he surely didn't appreciate it and will make sure to communicate to his players that such a scene is unacceptable.
As for the young Slafkovsky, he seems to be OK, but as you know, concussion symptoms can always appear later.
Hopefully, this is not the case for him, who has been much better at protecting himself and avoiding hard contacts this season.
Slafkovsky, 19 years old, 6 feet 3 inches and 230 pounds, has accumulated 12 points in 34 games this season. (4 goals) He is showing nice signs of progress.
