Last night, during the Tampa Bay Lightning-Edmonton Oilers match-up, we witnessed a truly terrifying scene when forward Evander Kane was seriously cut by Pat Maroon's skate:
Today, a few hours after the event and a few hours after undergoing surgery, Kane just released an official statement:
He announced that he is on the mend and will be able to continue his professional hockey career in the NHL. Major!
This is great news for Kane and his loved ones.
