Fans Furious at the NHL After a Terrible Call on Cole Caufield
Last night during the Montreal Canadiens game in Minnesota, once again, the refereeing was very dubious.
It's rare that we talk about it in our articles, but there was a particular sequence in last night's game that continues to be the talk of the town today and was really worth mentioning.
We're talking here about that penalty given to Cole Caufield for "cross-checking". (at the very end of the game no less)
Let's just say that many observers really did not appreciate this call, and not only in Montreal. (everywhere in the NHL too)
It could have completely changed the complexion of the game and it could have really cost the Canadiens a precious point in the standings.
The day after this (very) dubious call, many fans and experts want the NHL to finally make concrete changes to bring more stability and predictability to the referees' calls.
At times, it makes absolutely no sense.
And you, how do you find the refereeing since the start of the season in the NHL? Do you think Caufield deserved his penalty?
