The Dallas Stars have placed goalie Anton Khudobin's name on waivers.
Khudobin, 35, had been struggling since the start of the season. In seven games, he has three wins, a .873 save percentage and a 3.73 goals against average.
The Texas organization will look to Jake Oettinger and Braden Holtby to provide the future in net.
Remember that Khudobin was the main reason the Dallas Stars made it to the Stanley Cup Final in 2020. His performance in front of the net was incredible during Ben Bishop's absence. It was only a matter of time before that happened. If he is not claimed, he will be heading to the AHL.
