Former Montreal Canadiens scout Grant McCagg went through an interesting exercise and predicted the Montreal Canadiens' defensive line in 2025.
By that time, we imagine that the organization's young defensemen will have developed well and will be able to take on bigger roles.
Here's what it could look like, according to McCagg:
Kaiden Guhle - Logan Mailloux
Alexander Romanov - Justin Barron
Arber Xhekaj - Jordan Harris
He adds that we could see a nice rotation and have some nice depth, on the third pair, by adding the likes of Jayden Struble, Mattias Norlinder and Gianni Fairbrother.
And that's not even counting the upcoming acquisitions! It looks very promising for Montreal.
In your opinion, is this prediction realistic? What would you add?
