Let's start with the good news of Monday for the Montreal Canadiens: Paul Byron skated again, which indicates that his rehab from a hip injury is going as planned. The little number 41 should be back in action around New Year's Day.
That said, minutes after Paul Byron's skating session, the rest of the team hit the ice at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard to prepare for Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Kings.
Christian Dvorak and Jonathan Drouin were absent as they were getting a day of treatment. In the case of Jo Drouin, it was initially indicated that it was not a concussion, but it's getting rather worrisome, isn't it?
In any case, since both players were absent, the combinations at practice were as follows:
We all agree that the center line is not radiant without Dvorak and Drouin, who is now used at center.
In short, we practiced a facet that is hard this year for the Habs, namely screens in front of the net, which are very detrimental to Jake Allen. We used dummies to practice this exercise.
Stay tuned as fresh news about Drouin and Carey Price should be coming out soon.
