The success Joël Teasdale is currently enjoying is no coincidence. The Repentigny native in the land of the frisky Cowboys has earned every inch of ice!

Teasdale is 6-foot-0 and 205 pounds. His teammates call him "TEASE". He was the MVP of the 2018-2019 Memorial Cup with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the QMJHL. To dominate in his circumstances is a testament to his immense character.

In last year's particular season, the Covid-19 "no vaccine" season, he would have had 25 goals and 56 points at the rate he was playing. Let's not forget that he was previously sidelined for several months with a knee injury (ACL and MCL). Last year was his first time in the American League, which says a lot about his character.

He has flown under the radar of Habs fans, but to me, Joël is as valuable as the top prospects on the club. He is very responsible defensively. It's very hard to take the puck away from him. He's also kind of a fancy grinder with his hands. He especially likes to rush the net. One thing is for sure, there is nothing fun about playing against Teasdale.

A born leader who should play a full year in the AHL and dominate with the Laval Rocket. He is a rare quality diamond to be polished quietly. He's part of the Canadiens' bright future and he's also a local guy.

"Tease" in front of the net, "Tease" who applies many checks, "Tease" the natural leader, "Tease" the winner, "Tease" the worker. My dear Habs fan, you will hear for a long time to come ringing in your ears at the Bell Centre, "TEASE, TEASE, TEASE".
