According to information revealed by Anthony Marcotte, defenseman Josh Brook will not be at the Montreal Canadiens camp this year. He has just been operated on for a lower body injury. He should not be back in the game before 2022...
Many questions were hanging over the Canadian defenseman, given his noticeable absence. Remember that the Habs announced that they had offered a trial contract to defenseman Cody Goloubef earlier today. It is easy to deduce that the Habs wanted to compensate for the loss of Brook with the potential addition of Goloubef with the Rocket.
This is a blow to Brook's face as he is still developing.
