Important announcement and decision by TVA Sports regarding the broadcasting of NHL games
On Tuesday, TVA Sports released an important official statement regarding its NHL broadcast schedule.
An important shift
Good news for fans, there will be more NHL games being shown on TVA Sports!
Starting next January, in an effort to meet the demands of fans who wanted to see more games live, in French, some 60 games will be added to the Quebec sports channel.
See the official announcement:
"We are listening to fans who are asking for more and more NHL games. We have already begun a shift to make live events the cornerstone of our programming and this change is part of that direction. In fact, TVA Sports will present more than 400 hockey games in 2023, something never seen before in Quebec."
This is a major shift! So there will be fewer analysis and debate shows, and more live games.
