We have just learned that the Montreal Canadiens' general manager, Kent Hughes, has just placed the name of forward Brendan Gallagher on the injured list.
The information was reported by the very reliable CapFriendly site.
This announcement could lead to another one, and don't be surprised if the Habs recall a player from the Laval Rocket today.
Rem Pitlick could be a candidate for that.
Having put Brendan Gallagher's name on the injured list, the Habs can now proceed with a recall as their active roster is now 22 players.

So a new player could be coming to Montreal today.
Will the CH give Quebecer Rafael Harvey-Pinard a chance? In 34 games this season, he scored 24 points with the Rocket.
Pitlick had a solid 18 points in 15 games in the AHL this season.
Stay tuned today.
