The news we were waiting for today has just come out, Mike Matheson will not be back in the game tonight after all, and so Arber Xhekaj and Johnatan Kovacevic have their answer.
They will be in action tonight.
The defensemen in uniform will be: David Savard, Johnatan Kovacevic, Joel Edmundson, Kaiden Guhle, Jordan Harris and Arber Xhekaj.
"Canadien: Michael Matheson's return will have to wait a little longer. He will not be in the lineup against the Blue Jackets tonight." - Simon-O. Lorange Remember that Matheson is currently training 100% with his teammates, and he is very close to a return. He will probably play the next game.
Matheson, 28, had 31 points in 74 games last season with the Pittsburgh Penguins (11 goals) and was acquired in the Jeff Petry/Ryan Poehling trade. We look forward to seeing him in action.
More details to follow!
