As you know, yesterday, we learned some great news: Carey Price won the Bill Masterton Trophy, thanks to his perseverance.
Everyone is happy about this and everyone agrees that it is 100% deserved. On the other hand, it has become a subject of contention on Twitter between a Habs employee as well as some journalists.
See the response that seems to have started it all:
Reporter Richard Labbé didn't seem to appreciate the comment. The point of contention here? The lack of support (or not) from the Montreal media, towards Carey Price, in his quest for the Bill Masterton Trophy:
Canadiens employee sad that Montreal journalists didn't overwhelmingly support Carey Price for the Bill-Masterton Trophy - Price won, by the way.
What a fine understanding of our job. - Simon-O. Lorange
Marc Dumont is the CH employee in question, he tried to calm the game down today:
Hey, I know it got personal for some people last night when they got upset about one of my answers. And I appreciate the love that the fans have sent me.
But let's not get personal in return, please. Let's discuss the argument, not the source.
Regards.
