It has just been confirmed for Samuel Montembeault and it's bad news for Allen and Primeau
The Canadiens have just confirmed that Samuel Montembeault will be in goal tomorrow against the New York Islanders.
He's already back!
It seems that Martin St-Louis has finally identified his number one goalie.
It will be interesting to see what Kent Hughes will do because two consecutive games for Montembeault, and several games without playing for Jake Allen and Cayden Primeau, is a pretty clear statement.
The CH now has one #1 goalie and two #2 goalies.
One will have to leave. Which one?
Montembeault, 27 years old, has a record of 6-4-2 this season, an average of 2.78, and a solid save percentage of 0.911.
Primeau is at .902 and Allen at .901. (3 wins each)
More details to follow.
