Jake Allen has just confirmed a big rumor circulating about him
Last week, NHL Network and ESPN tipster Kevin Weekes reported a possible upcoming turnaround regarding goaltender Jake Allen:

This morning, in a press conference at the organization's annual golf tournament, Jake Allen confirmed this rumour:
"Allen confirmed "we've had discussions" - he and management - about a contract extension, but he had no further comment on the matter." - John Lu, TSN
Interesting! So Allen could indeed extend his stay in Montreal and it will be a case to watch. Kevin Weekes' sources were right, both sides are in discussions!
