The Montreal Canadiens have agreed to a three-year contract with forward Jake Evans worth $1.7 million per season.
Evans, a seventh-round pick in 2014, just received a nice vote of confidence from the Montreal Canadiens. Moreover, it's a contract that could bring a lot of positives to Dominique Ducharme's team. Evans will likely be the team's third center, so he'll have good wingers, considering the Habs' depth on offense.
Could he score at least 40 points over a full 82-game season playing with wingers like Mike Hoffman and Brendan Gallagher? Clearly yes, in my opinion!
