It seems that Mathieu Perreault was not only appreciated by Paul Maurice and his teammates, since his departure outraged the mother of a reporter covering the Winnipeg Jets. Jeff Hamilton, the reporter in question, posted a message that his "mom" sent him privately. Hamilton says that his mom is speaking for all women, that she can't spell Mathieu Perreault's name correctly and that she would kill him if she knew that he had shared this message. This is really hilarious, sorry lady!

Here is the message from his mother, who appreciates Mathieu Perreault very much:

"What the f*ck? Matthew (Mathieu) Perreault was traded to the Montreal Canadiens??? Seriously??? He's like our favorite player, especially on our side, the women. But what happened?"

It's true that the 33-year-old Drummondville native has a nice face, but for me, he's first and foremost an element that will be essential on the Habs' fourth unit, as he's been accepting his "new" role for the past two years. He once had five seasons of 15 or more goals, but now he's in a supporting role that he fills wonderfully. A versatile player who perfectly fulfills the mandates given to him, including defensive missions.

Anyway, it's Saturday, I'm on vacation in Saint-Sauveur with my girlfriend, so it's perfect to entertain ourselves with this kind of stuff before going on several shopping sprees.
