Mike Hoffman and Cedric Paquette skated together Friday morning, while Joel Edmundson as well as Paul Byron did the same, but not at the same time. Why didn't the four of them jump on the ice at the same time? I have no idea!
We have been waiting for Edmundson for too long already, he was supposed to come back much earlier on the starting schedule. By all appearances, he is suffering from a groin injury, which is not always easy to treat.

That being said, in regular practice, Alexander Romanov was once again very intense, as he practices like he plays, which is very physical. Ask Nick Suzuki what he thinks!
The trios and pairs concocted by Dominique Ducharme and his teammates were nothing new. Maybe that will change by tomorrow's game...
Toffoli - Suzuki - Caufield
Drouin - Dvorak - Anderson
Lehkonen - Evans - Gallagher
Pezzetta - Poehling - Armia
Chiarot - Petry
Romanov - Kulak
Norlinder - Savard
Niku - Wideman
In front of the net, logically, Samuel Montembeault should get the start on Saturday as the Nashville Predators are coming to town.
