After experiencing more difficult times in his private life, Montreal Canadiens forward Jonathan Drouin is slowly starting to make public appearances again. While waiting for the start of the CH's training camp, which will begin on September 22, Drouin took part in his annual golf tournament, organized as usual for the CHUM foundation, of which the Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts native is an ambassador.
And the least we can say is that the fourth edition of this tournament was a real success! Drouin's agent, Allan Walsh, announced that a record amount of $810,000 was raised thanks to this event.
This edition of the tournament also brought together several personalities, such as sports analysts and commentators Pierre Houde, Félix Séguin, Patrick Lalime, Gaston Therrien, Marc-André Perreault, Michel Bergeron, Louis Jean and Charles-Antoine Sinotte, as well as the singer Coeur de pirate. Not to mention, of course, Julie Chaurettte, CEO of the CHUM Foundation.
The money raised for the event will go entirely to the foundation, and will be used, among other things, to implement technological initiatives that will increase the performance of care offered.
