Jonathan Drouin out of the Montreal Canadiens lineup next season?

This should come as no surprise. After all, this is the first off-season of a brand new management in Montreal, and the new bosses (Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton) will want to quickly get the team in their image.

In addition, we are talking about an organization that wants to rebuild a young team and wants to trade big contracts, Kent Hughes has been very clear and transparent on this point.

So we have a perfect recipe for a very eventful summer, with several personnel moves.

Names such as Jeff Petry, Mike Hoffman and Shea Weber have come up a lot in trade rumors (due to their age and contractual situation)

One thing is for sure, personally, we think it could be ideal for Jo. The guy is clearly talented, but excessively unlucky and has never been able to really take off with the CH.

Imagine if he was traded to a club like the Colorado Avalanche or the Florida Panthers! It could be desirable for him and he's only 27 (that's the age of Valeri Nichushkin, who finally found a good fit in the NHL and is becoming an all-star player).

It's possible that the famous fit between Drouin and Montreal just isn't the right one, and it's no more serious than that.
