There's a lot of movement on the Montreal Canadiens' front today, as we learned that forward Rem Pitlick will officially be placed on waivers in the next few minutes.
Also, everything indicates that Evgenii Dadonov will be back in the lineup, on a trio with Jonathan Drouin and Sean Monahan.
Following these changes, head coach Martin St-Louis has assembled new lineups, and he has just revealed them.
Here they are:
Caufield - Suzuki - Dach
Drouin - Monahan - Dadonov
Hoffman - Dvorak - Gallagher
Slafkovsky - Evans - Armia
These are the likely trios for tomorrow's game against the Detroit Red Wings.
We quickly notice the presence of young Juraj Slafkovsky on the fourth trio, a decision that has fans talking a lot today on social networks.
- Dadonov and Drouin on the second line
- Hoffman on the third trio, with Brendan Gallagher and Christian Dvorak
- Slafkovsky back on the fourth trio
Many fans and experts believe that the two-game suspension given to Josh Anderson could have been a great opportunity for the organization to "test" Slafkovsky on the second or third line, but this will not be the case.
Despite the fact that he has scored three goals in his last five games, the young first overall pick must wait.
