We told you yesterday that Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes was interviewed by LP Guy and Gilbert Delorme on 91.9 Sports.
He also agreed to comment on the 2022 National Hockey League draft, which is fast approaching. Remember that Montreal secured a top-3 pick, finishing 32nd overall.
Kent Hughes was asked about the type of player he will target in the draft and if he will target the best player available or if he will focus more on filling the CH's needs.
"For sure, if there's a Connor McDavid available, you take him and you don't question it. However, if there isn't, we're going to try more to draft to fill needs. We're still being evaluated at that level." - Kent Hughes Gives a better idea of the CH's intentions for the upcoming high draft picks.
