As we reported a few minutes ago, the Los Angeles Kings have just made a big move by acquiring forward Kevin Fiala from the Minnesota Wild:
Fiala was a restricted free agent, but the Kings wasted no time in getting him.
According to the always reliable Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, Fiala just signed a $55.3 million contract with Los Angeles.
We're talking about a 7-year pact worth $7.9 million annually. (per season)
More details will follow.
Fiala, 25, has 85 points and 33 goals this season, he had 40 points in 49 games last season and 54 points in 64 games the season before that (Wild high). That's quite an addition for the Kings.
