In the last few seconds, the Montreal Canadiens organization announced this:
The Canadiens have loaned goaltender Cayden Primeau to the Laval Rocket So this confirms that Jake Allen is officially ready to return to the game.
It will now be interesting to see the decisions of head coach Martin St-Louis, who will have to decide who is his number one goalie.
Jake Allen or Samuel Montembeault?
Allen, 32, is 10-16-1 this season with a 3.52 GAA and .892 SV%
Montembeault, 26, is 10-9-2 this season with a 3.14 GAA and .910 SV%.
Primeau will be looking to rebuild his season with the Laval Rocket after a difficult campaign.
