Since last night, the Montreal Canadiens have been in controversy over their first round selection in the NHL draft, Logan Mailloux. The young man has received accusations of sexual acts, which occurred in Sweden in November 2020.

According to the information gathered, Mailloux had a sexual intercourse with a young lady and he would have taken a picture of the moment. The whole thing would have been done without the consent of the lady in question, which really did shock people, and that is totally legitimate.

The young lady recently delivered her side of the story during an interview with The Athletic.

Obviously, the young lady has not forgiven Mailloux, as he did not seem to feel any remorse about his disgraceful gesture.

"I don't think Logan realized the magnitude of the act he committed!"

She went on to reveal that she would have liked Mailloux to offer his sincerest apology in writing, which he did not. He only wrote a text message of a few lines.

"All I wanted was a sincere apology, from the heart, for making such a mistake!"

In addition, according to several sources, Mailloux mentioned that the victim was thirsty for revenge, which could greatly affect his career.

"Logan said I wanted to destroy his career. I never said that. All I wanted was to get justice for his actions against me. If his actions ruin his career, it's his fault, not mine."

Mailloux also commented on the young lady's sayings. According to him, he would have a lot of remorse about the situation.

"Personally, I think I made a huge mistake. I really made an immature mistake, and I was self-centered. I want the victim and her family to know that I am truly sorry and remorseful about the situation. I know now how much it affects their family. I'm really sorry, but there's nothing I can do about it right now. I hope they can forgive me one day."
