The Ottawa Senators have announced that Brady Tkachuk will be the new captain of the team.
The number 7 becomes the tenth captain in the history of the franchise.
Recall that the Sens were without a captain since Erik Karlsson left Ottawa in 2018.
It's a nice ending to this issue, considering the contractual disputes that have taken place between the organization and Tkachuk. This is his team and there is no doubt that he will be a key piece of the Senators' future.
