Major announcement from Kent Hughes regarding Carey Price

We told you about it a few minutes ago, but Kent Hughes has officially confirmed and announced it, in a press conference.
Goalie Carey Price has been placed on the Montreal Canadiens' long-term injury list (between seasons). The verdict is in and the organization will turn to goalies Jake Allen and Samuel Montembeault to start the next season.
"Hughes says Price will be placed on the offseason LTIR today. The Canadiens will get $10.5 million in cap relief."

Clearly, there is no optimism right now, regarding #31's knee:
