In the last few seconds, the Montreal Canadiens organization announced that they had placed defenseman Arber Xhekaj's name on the injured list.
A major announcement that we were dreading.
"Defenseman Arber Xhekaj has been placed on the injury list. Arber is scheduled to meet with a specialist in the next few days. An update will be issued after that meeting."

It doesn't look good, and obviously, we shouldn't expect to see him back in the lineup anytime soon.
