Since the departure of Martin St-Louis' assistant coach, Luke Richardson, who was recently hired as the new head coach of the Chicago Blackhawks, many rumors have surfaced.

Who will be his replacement?

Not surprisingly, considering this new opening in Montreal, many fans and observers have suggested the name of Patrick Roy. Roy and St-Louis, that would be quite a tandem of enthusiasts, but well, it's up to you to judge if you believe it or not.

As for Patrick Roy's future, let's remember that he took many by surprise during the Quebec Remparts' end-of-season review, by questioning his future behind the team's bench.

Since this statement by the former NHL star goaltender, speculation has been rife as to Roy's future, not only with the Remparts but in the hockey world in general.

In any case, before thinking about a possible opportunity with the Montreal Canadiens (as an assistant coach), Roy must decide on his future in the QMJHL.

Fans are anxiously awaiting his decision.

Well, there's news on that front. According to the excellent journalist Stéphane Turcot, on TVA, an announcement is to come this week, concerning Patrick Roy's future with the Quebec Remparts.

We will be watching this very closely, but we should have our answer this week.

There are three options for Roy:

1- Remain head coach and general manager of the Remparts

2- Remain only as general manager of the Remparts

3- Leave the Quebec Remparts.

What is your prediction?

More details to follow!
