Many Canadiens fans are already in a tizzy and are looking forward to the next NHL draft at the Bell Centre in July.

Currently, many experts are talking about the possible future first overall pick of the Tricolore and we have an interesting fight between Shane Wright and Juraj Slafkovsky.

While some disagree on which of these three prospects will be selected by the Habs, Cimon Asselin, of Habsolumentfan.com, makes a rather unusual suggestion but one that is still worth thinking about.

After the Habs, it's the New Jersey Devils who will be talking second and we already know that some rumors suggest that Devils GM Tom Fitzgerald would be open to trading the second overall pick.

So what we propose is this:

To Montreal: the second overall pick.

To New Jersey : Kaiden Guhle and the 26th overall pick

The Canadiens' first pick in 2020 is considered by many experts to be the team's best prospect not to play in the NHL, and his junior team, the Edmonton Oil Kings, are currently in the Western Junior League finals against the Seattle Thunderbirds.

Guhle, who will likely be at the World Junior Championship as captain of Team Canada in August, is having a great series so far with 14 points in as many games, including six goals.

Ok, this is a trade suggestion but still, the Devils already have several good young players on offense and the addition of Kaiden Guhle would certainly help the team's defensive brigade that has been struggling for years.

As for the Habs, it would give even more ammunition to the offense but since the chances of that happening are pretty slim, we can afford to dream a little bit here.

But still, what do you think?
