Major turnaround coming for Jared Bednar and the Colorado Avalanche?

In Game 3 of the series between the Avalanche and Oilers, Evander Kane dangerously checked Nazem Kadri from behind, injuring his thumb. The next game, it was Andrew Cogliano's turn to fall in battle, blocking with his hand. Both had to undergo surgery on their injured fingers.
However, it seems that Nazem Kadri could be back in the game during the Stanley Cup Final against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The forward was back on the ice Sunday for a skate with fellow Canadian Andrew Cogliano. Neither player joined the Avalanche's regular one-hour practice.
According to Mikko Rantanen, it seems that Nazem Kadri is doing pretty well right now...
This is quite a development and quite a turnaround, as the most recent reports (including Darren Dreger's) indicated that Kadri's streak was obviously over.
In the end, that doesn't seem to be the case at all.
Reporters asked Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar if Kadri and Cogliano were out of Game 1, and Bednar said it wasn't certain yet, with a smirk.
So it would be no surprise to see the forward return to the game sooner or later in this series. There is no way on a personal level that he would pass up his first opportunity to play in the Stanley Cup Final.
This could be a real game changer!
